

Mail comes and surprise surprise, no package in the mail. I manage to open a new case using desktop stating that I still haven't received the package but my case got closed anyway. They say ok and to let them know if anything changes. Awesome right? I just say thank you and that I would like to cancel at this point.


The next day after my mail is delivered with no package, they finally reply back that since it hasn't arrived it is eligible for cancellation or I can still wait for it. I again reply asking for time to actually receive the package. Mercari basically tells me to pound sand and they cant give me an extension.

I also open a case with the USPS for a missing package. It was my usual carrier and they dropped off another package at the same time, so I'm positive it wasn't mis-delivered.Īfter reaching out to Mercari and opening a case I asked for an extension to the rating process (If you dont know it gives you 72 hours to rate the seller after "Proof" of delivery, after that it auto rates the seller, pays them, and you can no longer receive a refund). However, as you may suspect, it wasnt there. After arriving at my post office 3 times each 2 hours apart (wtf tracking?) it shows as "Delivered in/At mailbox" a few days later. However it had been 2 days since any scans so I figured it just got missed. The tracking was a little weird with it saying it traveled across the US (VA to WA) in 2 hours. It wasn't a stock picture & the seller had other different items for sale so no alarm bells went off, however they WERE a new account. However, recently I had a terrible experience and wanted to make others aware. I haven't had much trouble with returns, and almost have a perfect track record for getting things sent back. So I've been buying items from Mercari to flip for a while now.
